FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS…

What’s it like when I attend for the first time?

At LTCF, you will be welcomed as you walk in the front doors. Feel free to ask our greeters any questions you may have! Coffee is served in the lobby for for fifteen minutes before service starts. Feel free to grab a cup and head upstairs to our main auditorium. Church starts at 10am with a welcome as we sing songs of worship together. After we sing you are invited to sit as we welcome our visitors, hand out a welcome card and share announcements of upcoming events, etc. We then dismiss our children and take a moment to greet one another. We then join back together as one of our pastors shares a message.

Where do I park?

In the front of our main entrance are several spaces reserved for visitors directly off of Blackwood Road. We encourage you to park there and come on in!

How should I dress?

Here in South Lake Tahoe we lean more towards casual dress. Come in what is comfortable for you! We have people who enjoy dressing more professional and others who are very relaxed. We encourage you to come dressed feeling like you!

What happens with my kids?

We have Kid’s Church available for infants up to 5th grade. When you walk in our front doors, we have three kiosks available for kid’s check in. A background checked volunteer will be there to help you create a family profile in our check in system. Once that is complete, your kids will be checked in and two tags will be printed. One for your child, and a security tag for you to pick them up. This tag is required for pick up so that your child will only be released to you. Check out our Ministries page for the break down on kid’s classes. Your children will join you for the first part of the service when we are singing together and then will be dismissed part way through. You are welcome to walk your kids down, see their classroom and meet their teachers. Greeters will be there to assist you to know where to take them.

How long does the service last?

Our services vary in length depending on what is happening that Sunday. Services typically end between 11:40am and 11:50am. If you need to leave earlier for any reason, feel free to head out at anytime. We’re glad you came for any amount of time!
