You Can Overcome "It"

Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit have sent Me.
— Isaiah 48:16

What is your "it"?

Problems, struggles, needs, trials? The moments of, "God I need a miracle!" or even the moments of, "God, I'm trying my hardest to wait on you..." He knows. We know that He knows, but this is something that we really need to get in our hearts. He knows; he's familiar with us and our needs; he sees us draw every single breath, watches its chemistry within our bodies nourishing cells, and then watches us exhale this breath of life. How much more does He know our needs?

From the time that IT was, HE was. He has a solution, He is the sovereign one.

So often we look at our problems as mountains in front of us and we can't help but think how helpless we are to remove it. So instead, we learn to build around it; to live our entire lives around it; and every now and then we look at how big IT is and then sigh and continue with our daily lives. IT becomes something we just deal with.

We can't forget that we serve a God who levels mountains to make our way straight before us.

At just the right time, I will respond to you. On the day of salvation I will help you. I will protect you and give you to the people as my covenant with them...And I will make my mountains into level paths for them. The highways will be raised above the valleys.
— Isaiah 49:8, 11

He's our redeemer! And we are His people! He wants us to be free and walk in authority more than we do because HE sees the big picture. He isn't ashamed of our "it".

He is the Lord YOUR God, fully understanding of your situation and fully sovereign to level it. But in the process of overcoming, He teaches us to profit--to learn from every experience and grow in maturity; to learn the ways of war and strengthen ourselves in Him; to embody the promises He has for us. And He will lead you in the way you should go. You're not figuring this thing out yourself. You're not guessing. He will lead you.

Sometimes He leads us up to mountains just so that He can show that it is HE who levels it.
